This is a concept that I thought of developing a million times. I sick of not being able to find reservations to decent restaurants in Toronto, especially at the last minute, or day of. Well done. Cant wait for there to be more restaurants on it.

Easy access to open reservation to the best spots in town. I look like the man now when I can book a table at places that are usually impossible to get into same night
Used this app to get into the highly coveted restos during my gastronomical tour of Old Montreal. Most of the restaurants on list are booked up weeks in advance. Perfect if youre flexible and a foodie in town for short period of time.
Such a great idea, used it a few time for last minute plans, will be used again :)
My GoTo resto app Montreal. Ive used it to get into a lot of hard to get into restos last minute after a cancellation. They should roll this app out for other cities too. I highly recommend.
Some bad moments
I have some (no pun intended) reservations about this app.
1- it does doesnt give you the restaurants contact info (address, phone number)
2- theres no quick overview of the restaurants specialty ( Italian, Spanish etc.)
3- As far as I can see there appears to be only 6 restaurants using this app.
4- Where is the list of participating restaurants? If I was a restaurateur who signed up for this app I would be angry that my place is not listed anywhere on the app.

This is not like Hotel Tonight or other booking services that guarantee you are getting what you booked. While DINR may take your reservation, it doesnt mean they can ensure youll actually get a seat. So, like me, you may find yourself heading to a restaurant in a taxi and suddenly get a call from the place, telling you the table is unavailable. Caveat emptor.
We had read about this app on the website Eater and thought it was a genius concept. At first use we were able to score a same day reservation at Le Bremner. We would pay money for this app. Cannot wait until it goes world wide.
